Le défi de la Salamandre - 15 km 2026

Le défi de la Salamandre - 1.5 km is a 1.5 km open-water swim held near Vendome in early July. It is part of the French Open Water Swimming Cup calendar. Recent editions have taken place at the nautical base in Villiers-sur-Loir, near Vendome. As a relatively new event with only a few editions completed, it has the feel of a developing local open-water gathering rather than a large, established race.
