At 10:00 a.m., the two running races at Le Grand Défi SEP - Sceaux begin together in Parc de Sceaux, near Paris. The event is a charity race day focused on multiple sclerosis research, featuring 10 km and 5 km runs, 5 km and 2.5 km walks, and a 1 km children's race. Entry costs 4 euros for each listed distance, with bibs distributed on site.
The course details are practical: no elevation gain is noted, and the distances allow runners, walkers, families, and children to participate at a suitable length. The walks commence at 10:30 a.m., and the children's run starts at noon. The cause is central: multiple sclerosis affects over 115,000 people in France, is the primary cause of severe non-traumatic disability in young adults there, and has no cure.
