Le PAL Run 2027

The PAL Run takes participants through the alleys of Le PAL, an animal and amusement park located in Dompierre-sur-Besbre, Allier, France. This late-April road event offers two races: a chip-timed 10 km for those seeking a classified result, and the 3.5 km Magic PAL Run, a non-timed, free-pace option suitable for families and friends. The shorter race is open to participants aged 6 and up, while the 10 km is intended for older runners and requires a French medical certificate or PPS attestation. The course winds through the park, allowing participants to pass by animal enclosures instead of solely using public roads. Organizers encourage animal-themed costumes, and the morning features musical warm-ups prior to the races. Both distances include finisher medals, and 1 euro from each registration is donated to La Fondation Le PAL Nature. The event is coordinated by the Allier athletics committee and AS Dompierre Sport's athletics section, and includes a company challenge allowing colleagues to register under a single workplace name.
