Le Trail de la Passerelle is a mountain trail-running series held in Mazamet, offering five race distances from approximately 13 km to 61 km. The shortest route ascends 650 meters, and the longest, Le Nore, involves 3,000 meters of elevation gain, making even the shortest distance a genuine hill run.
The courses traverse paths in the Montagne Noire, passing historical remnants and significant sites in two adjacent communes before connecting to the Passerelle de Mazamet. This footbridge is the event's signature feature, spanning 140 meters and suspended 70 meters over the Arnette river. The event is in its seventh year, with staggered starts beginning with the 61 km runners, followed by the shorter races later in the morning.
