Le Trail Fort et Vert is an early-season trail event held in Mesnières-en-Bray, Seine-Maritime, organized by the Association Sportive de Mesnières. This FFA-sanctioned race day offers five running distances: 12 km, 22 km, 32 km, 42 km, and 62 km. The program also includes a 10 km Nordic walk and a hiking option, attracting a broader field than just trail runners. The timed races saw 1,716 starters and 1,698 finishers, with approximately 2,300 competitors participating across all formats.
The chateau serves as the event's most distinct local landmark: runners begin with it behind them and finish facing it. The final section of the course returns to Mesnières via a last path, leading to a final kilometre to the finish line; the 62 km race and the last 1,500 metres of the other courses share the same finish area. The 62 km is a new addition to Trail Fort et Vert, with its inaugural winner finishing in just under five hours, while the fastest 12 km runner completed the course in a little over 51 minutes. Club runners are present throughout the results, alongside unattached runners, Nordic walkers, and hikers.
