Les 10 bornes du château Gaillard - Les Andelys 2027

Les 10 bornes du Château-Gaillard is the primary 10 km race held in Les Andelys as part of the Challenge de l'Andelle. Runners start at the Parc des sports René Tomasini. Athletic Club Andelysien organizes the event, which takes place on a Sunday morning. Shorter races commence before the 10 km event. This is a local road-and-trail race day, not solely a single-distance event, offering races from children's dashes up to 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km distances. The 10 km race begins with a lap around the stadium before heading out from the rear of the sports park. It follows a stony forest path towards Cléry and then returns via road. The most challenging section is not a climb, but the lengthy straight road back, where participants frequently encounter a headwind. The event caters to a broad age range, from the youngest in free short races to juniors, seniors, and masters in the longer races. A past Les Andelys stage saw 347 participants, reflecting the character of a well-attended, club-organized regional race.
