The 10 km ambarrois - Bettant begins at Place de Bettant, in front of the town hall, in the Ain department of eastern France. This early-April road race offers 10 km and 5 km distances, along with a timed Nordic walk, all on paved roads with under 30 meters of elevation gain.
The course follows Bettant’s newer road layout through a protected natural area, closed to traffic for the event. The 10 km race is the Ain Championship, and both the 5 km and 10 km hold the FFA Bronze label, allowing qualification for the French Road Running Championships. The event is associated with Ambérieu Marathon, and its inaugural edition saw 360 participants.
