Les 24 heures de Capitany is a looped running and walking event in Colomiers, taking place within the Capitany sports complex. Les Colume’Runs, an association founded by friends with a passion for sport and enjoyment, organizes it. Participants can select from 3-hour, 6-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour race durations, allowing for choices ranging from a brief effort to an entire day of activity.
The course consists of a marked 1,124-meter loop. This setup emphasizes patience, pacing, and repeated returns to the same support areas, especially for the longer races. Now in its seventh year, the event attracts both returning participants and newcomers. A recent edition saw over 230 athletes compete, supported by nearly fifty volunteers. The 24-hour race results highlight the competitive nature at the front: Anne-Gaëlle Coffy completed 216.158 km in the women's running race, Stéphane Leroux covered 207.166 km in the men's running race, and Nadège Cantet achieved 152.090 km in the women's walking race.
