Les 6h du Mont Glonne is a six-hour running race held in Saint-Florent-le-Vieil, within Mauges-sur-Loire in Maine-et-Loire. Rather than aiming for a set distance, participants complete as many laps as possible within the time limit. Runners can compete individually or as a four-person relay team, accommodating both personal endurance goals and group camaraderie.
The circuit is a 3.3 km loop featuring approximately 90 meters of elevation gain per lap, positioning the race as a short-loop endurance event rather than a flat road time trial. Organized by Athletic-club Varades, its inaugural edition quickly met its 200-runner capacity, with 205 participants starting and a significant number of spectators lining the course. The event also offers children’s races, an on-course refreshment station for runners, and food and beverages available for attendees.
