Les foulées arpajonnaises - Arpajon-sur-Cère 2027

Les Foulées Arpajonnaises begins in Arpajon-sur-Cère, Cantal, situated on the lower slopes of the Cantal mountains. This event offers a series of mixed local races, not a single format. It includes a 32 km Trail XS with 1,200 metres of elevation gain, a timed 15 km Nordic walk, a 15 km sportive hike, and a 10 km family hike. The timed Nordic walk starts at 9:00 AM, with the hike commencing at 9:05 AM. The course maps are available for download beforehand as PDF files, simplifying planning for the walking portions of the event. The hikes have straightforward pricing, including free entry for children under 12 on the hike, and registration by mail is an option. The event has been held for over thirty editions. The post-race meal provides a distinct Cantal character, featuring filet mignon, truffade or aligot, cheese, and dessert, all available with advance reservation.
