Les Foulées Canavéroises begins at Stade Aristide Briand in Chennevières-sur-Marne, southeast of Paris, and takes place during Octobre Rose, the breast cancer awareness month. This road race is designed for runners and families alike: adults can select a 4 km or 8 km distance, while families have a 2 km option. The 8 km race starts first in the morning, followed by the 4 km and then the family course, accommodating both those aiming for a personal best and groups participating primarily to support the cause.
The course departs from rue Aristide Briand, passes Mail Daniel Cordier, and runs near the Fort de Champigny. Entry fees are modest, with distinct prices for the 4 km, 8 km, and family course. All proceeds benefit the Ligue contre le cancer; one recent edition contributed over 3,000 euros. The top three women and men in the 4 km and 8 km races receive awards. Beyond the competition, a prevention stand offers cancer-awareness information, and local partners including Fitness Park, Crédit Mutuel, Montana, Renault, and Carrefour provide event support.
