From Place de l'Église in Sartilly-Baie-Bocage, Les Foulées de la Baie offers 9 km and 16 km routes near the bay of Mont Saint-Michel on a Sunday morning. This local running event includes a short nature race, a longer mixed-surface race, a 9 km walk on the short route, and children's races, allowing families to participate in multiple starts.
The 9 km course follows paths around Sartilly and heads toward La Rochelle-Normande. The 16 km route combines road and tracks toward Saint-Michel-des-Loups and Ronthon, offering a view over the bay and a refreshment stop around the 10 km mark. Organized by the Sainte-Thérèse school parents' association with support from about sixty volunteers, the event grew from approximately 200 to 250 participants in its initial editions to an expected 800 attendees, including 700 runners. Both timed races are limited to 350 bibs, with top male, female, and adolescent runners receiving gift boxes, and all registered participants receiving a prize.
