Les foulées de la rose 2026

Les Foulées de la Rose is a Sunday morning running event in Bellegarde, France, held on the last weekend of September by S.E.P.A.B., the local athletics association. The main options are timed 5 km and 10 km road races, both with rankings, plus a Nordic walk and a children’s race. The 10 km is open from the cadet category upward and is part of the Challenge du Gâtinais; the 5 km starts at the minime category. Non-licensed runners can enter the adult races with the required health attestation or medical certificate, and registration is handled online in advance, with no sign-ups on race morning. The adult races begin in the town center of Bellegarde, pass through Bellegarde and Quiers-sur-Bezonde, and finish in the historic center between the château and the Town Hall, at the foot of the Château de Bellegarde. Bib pickup is set in the château courtyard, giving the event a very local feel before anyone reaches the start line. The children’s race covers ages from éveil athlé to benjamins, with parents allowed to accompany younger runners. Each entry comes with a rose bush, and one euro from every registration goes to cystic fibrosis research through the Virades de l’Espoir.
