Les Foulées douarnenistes begins at the Jules Verne hall in Douarnenez, a port town in Finistère on the Brittany coast. It is a winter road race of approximately 10 km, offering both solo and relay participation, and attracts a substantial local field rather than feeling like a small club event. The route crosses the town and follows the seafront, incorporating Douarnenez’s streets, harbor, and local landmarks.
