Les foulées du malbec - Saint-Vincent-Rive-d'Olt 2027

Les Foulées du Malbec is a January trail and nature-running event held in Saint-Vincent-Rive-d'Olt, a village in the Lot department of southwest France. The program offers runners three choices: a 42 km marathon with approximately 1,500 m of elevation gain, a 28 km trail with approximately 1,100 m of elevation gain, and a 14 km nature race with approximately 400 m of elevation gain. A non-timed hike is also available, ensuring the day caters to participants not solely focused on achieving a specific time. The routes are described as a “stones and vineyards” experience surrounding Saint-Vincent-Rive-d'Olt, aligning with the Malbec name and the local Cahors wine region. The longer races commence early in the morning, with the hike starting first, followed by the marathon, the 28 km trail, and the shorter nature race. Now in its eleventh edition, the event has evolved from a single local race into a well-established fixture, maintaining the feel of a compact village event centered on rough terrain, vineyard paths, and winter running.
