Les Sentiers de Bacchus is a Course Nature race series in Domérat, in the Bourbonnais area of Auvergne, usually listed for late March or early April. The current race day offers three running distances: 8.5 km, 12 km, and 18 km. The short race is La course Gougé, the middle one is La course Teinturier, and the long one is La course Verdurant, giving the event a wine-country thread that fits the Bacchus name.
The routes use the communal paths around Domérat and are described as having no major difficulties, so the series suits runners who want a runnable nature course rather than a technical mountain trail. Amitié Nature Montluçon organizes the event, and the field is built around both performance and conviviality. There is also an 8.5 km hike for people who want the same local paths without racing. One euro from each registration goes to the Bich'rett association, and on-site entry is possible with a small extra fee.
