Lourdes-Tarbes is a point-to-point road race in the Hautes-Pyrénées, Occitanie, connecting Lourdes and Tarbes in mid-November. The primary event is a half marathon of 21.0975 km originating in Lourdes, with a 12 km alternative beginning in Lanne. Both courses conclude at the Halle Marcadieu in Tarbes.
The half marathon, known locally as “La course des miracles,” commences in Lourdes, the Marian city situated at the base of the Pyrenees, and proceeds towards Tarbes. It accommodates runners, roller skaters, and handbike athletes, while the 12 km event is also open to walkers. Tarbes Pyrénées Athlétisme coordinates the race alongside Lourdes Rollers, and the semi-marathon is regarded locally as a Hautes-Pyrénées tradition.
