Marathon Poitiers Futuroscope 2027

The Marathon Poitiers Futuroscope takes runners from Place du Marechal Leclerc in central Poitiers to Avenue du Futuroscope in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou, finishing near the Futuroscope theme park. This spring road marathon covers the standard 42.195 km distance in the Vienne department of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France, with a 5 hour 30 minute time limit. The event also includes a half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, relay, virtual race, and a free children's race, catering to a range of participants beyond just marathoners. The course connects Poitiers' historic city center with the Futuroscope technology hub, featuring a mix of urban, natural, and theme-park sections instead of a basic city circuit.
