The Boulogne-Billancourt Aquathlon Meeting is a mixed relay team race held in early October. Four athletes form each team: two women and two men. It uses an XS-format relay, and if the swim is cancelled, the event becomes a duathlon. The triathlon distances are short and fast: 250 m swim, 5.6 km bike, and 1.8 km run per athlete before the handover.
The relay order is woman, man, woman, man, making the mixed-team structure integral to the race, not just an entry requirement. The event is open to youth categories from Benjamins to Juniors, and it also serves as a friendly workplace competition for colleagues. Race morning begins early with bib pickup and bike park access, followed by the briefing, the first start, and an awards ceremony late in the morning.
