Menthon Raid is a non-timed multisport race in Menthon-Saint-Bernard, a village on Lake Annecy in Haute-Savoie, France. It takes place in October and includes lake swimming, trail running, bike-and-run, road running, walking, and shorter courses for children and juniors. The event is structured as a pairs challenge, with options from 450 metres to 17.9 km, making it a shared outdoor raid rather than a typical solo road race.
The route begins with a swim in the lake, a triangular course of about 440 metres where wetsuits are permitted but fins are not. Racers then proceed onto paths around Menthon-Saint-Bernard, ascending towards the castle, which gives the course its local character. Filos, a village association, organizes the race to support local groups and unite people through sport. Food, drinks, and an evening open to all maintain the day's social atmosphere after the competition concludes.
