Morieres la course - Morières-lès-Avignon 2026

La Course is Courir à Morières’ annual running and walking event in Morières-lès-Avignon, near Avignon in France’s Vaucluse department. Starting from Gymnase Perdiguier, it is part of the local Vauclusien challenge calendar. It offers short, accessible options: approximately 13 to 13.5 km, approximately 6 to 6.5 km, and a 9 km walk. The routes traverse the hills surrounding Morières-lès-Avignon and Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne, winding through vineyards and wooded paths. The longer course includes about 300 m of elevation gain, while the shorter one has approximately 100 m. The event includes both runners and walkers, with previous editions attracting over 400 participants. The organizing club also trains runners and sports walkers throughout the year. The event supports the Téléthon, with a portion of each entry fee donated to the cause, and receives backing from the town, sponsors, and partners.
