Nesles la Foulée is a trail and nature race held in late March in Nesles-la-Vallée, a village in the Val-d’Oise department of the Île-de-France region, near Paris. It features a range of distances: 300 m, 1.5 km, 6.5 km, 12.5 km, and approximately 22 km, with the longest distance designated as a Semi Maratrail. This structure accommodates adults, walkers, young runners, and children within the same event.
The primary courses consist of single-loop trails. The 22 km route includes around 360 m of elevation gain, the 12.5 km Endurance route has about 155 m, and the 6.5 km Plaisir route offers roughly 82 m. A 12.5 km Nordic walking option is also available. The children’s races are brief and straightforward: the 1.5 km Sprint jeunes consists of two 750 m loops, and the 300 m Eveil race provides the youngest participants with a single short loop.
