Nordique Bellifontaine, held in mid-October in Montigny-sur-Loing, Seine-et-Marne, takes place near the Fontainebleau forest. Azimut Sport Compétition Fontainebleau organizes the event, offering three forest routes: 8.5 km (La Virée Nordique), 14.5 km (La Mont Aigu), and 20.5 km (La Nordique Bellifontaine).
The 8.5 km walk is suitable for beginners. The 14.5 km route provides a more demanding outing for regular walkers, while the 20.5 km course presents the primary challenge and is the most frequented choice. Past editions featured a 13 km race on the national MNCN circuit for licensed FFA athletes, connected to the Île-de-France and Seine-et-Marne challenges, and a Nordic Bellif-Kids format for ages 12 to 15. Over 100 participants joined a prior edition, indicating it's a local forest event attracting both competitive walkers and those opting for a less strenuous distance.
