The Nordique Talantaise is a 12 km Nordic walking race held in Talant, near Dijon, organized by AC Talant each February. It begins at the MT Eyquem Gymnasium and is a competitive event, not a casual hike. It holds a regional label and serves as a support race for the Côte d'Or Championship and the Marche Nordique Tour.
The course consists of a 3 km loop completed four times, situated at the base of the Butte du Vie. Participants have unobstructed views toward Lac Kir and the Ouche valley. This repeated-loop format simplifies monitoring for officials and spectators. The event was the region's first Nordic walking competition and also acts as a qualifier for the French Championship, attracting athletes seeking a formal racing opportunity alongside local participants interested in the sport.
