Odysséa Cannes

Odysséa Cannes guides participants along the Mediterranean in Cannes, offering 10 km, 5 km, and children’s races. This event supports breast cancer research and typically emphasizes mass participation over competitive times. A virtual race option is also available for those participating remotely. The course features rolling terrain, making it unsuitable for record attempts, but the focus remains on the cause as much as the race itself. Odysséa was founded by international athlete Frédérique Quentin and physiotherapist Frédérique Jules. The broader French series originated from women running between the École Militaire and the Eiffel Tower, expanding into races and walks in numerous cities. A village area collects donations, with funds directed towards breast cancer research and patient support, including wigs and childcare assistance during chemotherapy.
