Penet Race - Radon 2027

Penet Race is a private trail event for those near Penet, held at the Radon trail station in Orne, Normandy. Taking place in March, it includes several options: a 34 km trail for experienced runners, a short 1.623 km trail, hiking, and team cycling. The long trail features 1,100 meters of elevation gain, and the short trail has 303 meters of ascent, indicating a challenging day. Entry is capped at 500 participants across the running events, not including the hike. The courses traverse the Ecouves forest, a significant wooded area near Radon. The event focuses on the Penet community rather than being an open competition. This race connects to 65 years of company history, serving as an occasion for colleagues, partners, and family to gather outside of work. The charitable aspect is clear: the entire bib fee, plus any additional donations during registration, supports the Francois Baclesse center in acquiring equipment to enhance patient comfort.
