The Pollionnay Trail Tour is a solidarity trail-running event held in Pollionnay, located in the Rhône department near Lyon. It is organized by the association Voir Plus Loin, which provides support for young people with disabilities. The race features repeated 7 km loops instead of a single point-to-point course, offering two individual formats: the Trail Tour Intégral, for runners participating from Saturday through Sunday, and the Trail Tour Sprint, a shorter option to experience the same concept.
In the Intégral, participants can complete up to 24 loops, with a time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes per loop. This format challenges runners' pacing, recovery, and endurance, with the last runner remaining on the circuit declared the winner. The Sprint utilizes the same 7 km loop but limits participation to 6 loops, maintaining the main event's rhythm without requiring the overnight commitment.
