Pondi Urban Trail is a late-winter urban trail race held in Pontivy, Brittany. It begins at La Plaine, located in Place Aristide Briand in the city center. This event offers ranked running and walking options, accommodating competitive runners, hikers, and local families on the same morning. The typical schedule includes 8 km and 14 km distances, with distinct starts for runners and walkers. A free children's circuit around La Plaine is also available, with registration on-site.
The course crosses the southern part of Pontivy and its city center, leading participants through areas not typically seen by visitors. Runners and walkers will pass historical and notable buildings, including Pontivy Castle, the town hall, and Saint-Joseph church. Local sports groups organize the event. Recent editions have attracted approximately 1,200 participants for the races, with the total reaching nearly 1,750 when the walking option is counted.
