Purple Run is a Saturday morning charity race in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, in the Yvelines department west of Paris. It supports the fight against cancer and keeps the format simple: a 10 km road race, a 5 km road race, and a 5 km walk.
The two runs start together, while the walk leaves later in the morning, so runners and walkers share the same event without needing the same pace. This is the first edition, organized by Association Purple Run, and the setup points clearly toward a friendly, family-oriented crowd rather than a race built only for fast club runners.
