Raid Briz'cou begins at Espace Sport Nature in Autun, France, leading participants into the Morvan regional park for a spring multisport event. It combines trail running, mountain biking, orienteering, and unexpected challenges, offering short and long course options to suit individual effort levels. Racers can compete solo or in pairs; solo participants must be at least 16 years old, while pairs can include individuals aged 12 and up when accompanied by an adult.
The course navigates the natural landscape around Planoise and the hills above Autun, incorporating historical sites like Couhard and the Croix de la Libération. The event resumed after a seven-year hiatus in a revamped “2.0” version, attracting 80 participants for its return. Aspen Autun is the organizing body, with the Association des sports de pleine nature assisting in the relaunch. The inclusion of surprise challenges distinguishes it from a typical run-bike-navigation competition.
