Raid des gendarmes - Marigot 2027

The Raid des Gendarmes - Marigot is a pairs race held in Saint Martin. It begins at the Galisbay parking area with a briefing before an early 6:30 a.m. start. Organized by the sports and leisure club of the Saint-Martin gendarmerie, this event is structured as a chained raid for fit participants, incorporating swimming, running, mountain biking, shooting, and kayaking. The format commences with a Swim and Run segment: four rounds of 500 meters on foot and 600 meters in the water. Teams then navigate a 17 km Run and Bike route via mountain bike from Galisbay to Anse Marcel and return. This is followed by five air-pistol shots overseen by the Saint-Martin Shooting Association, with a one-minute penalty for each miss. The race concludes with a 4 km kayak section at Galisbay, positioning it as a multi-sport challenge rather than a typical road race.
