Randon Nuit is a night trail race held in Monts-de-Randon, located in the Lozere department of southern France. This winter event offers two marked off-road routes: 10 km or 15 km. Participants must carry a headlamp, as the longer race begins after sunset.
The course crosses forest paths and rocky terrain, avoiding smooth roads. The 10 km route includes 425 meters of elevation gain, while the 15 km route features 595 meters. The race attracts a modest number of participants, typically around a few hundred finishers. Volunteers are present, and refreshments are provided at the finish line to help runners recover.
