Rhône Orientation 2026

Rhône Orientation is a nature and forest event in Lamure-sur-Azergues, a village in the Rhône department of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, less than an hour by car from Lyon. It is held in late November and offers several route lengths, from short 5 km and 6 km options up to 16 km and 20 km courses. The format combines trail running, walking, and orienteering, with forest sections and route choices rather than a simple road race feel. The event lists both timed and untimed options, so experienced orienteers can treat it as a challenge while amateurs can come for a lower-pressure day outside.
