Roc d'Azur CIC is a five-day mountain bike and outdoor festival held at Base Nature Francois Leotard in Frejus, on France's Mediterranean coast. Established in the southeast in 1984, it attracts approximately 20,000 participants and more than 100,000 visitors annually. The event caters to various cycling disciplines, with amateurs and professionals competing alongside cross-country, enduro, gravel, and triathlon riders. Trail runners and hikers also participate throughout the week.
The courses traverse trails near Frejus, Roquebrune-sur-Argens, and Saint-Raphael, situated between the coast and the Maures and Esterel mountains. Key events include the Roc d'Azur, approximately 55 km with 1,275 m of elevation gain, and the Roc Marathon, over 100 km with 2,680 m of climbing. The event village features cycling and outdoor brands, tourism exhibitors, and innovation displays. The schedule also includes guided rides, an expo, BMX and trials demonstrations, concerts, and dirt competitions.
