Roq'4 Trail is a late-April trail race held in Roquefort-les-Pins, a town in the Alpes-Maritimes region, situated above the French Riviera. The running takes place in the woods surrounding the Terres Blanches neighborhood, featuring short trail formats instead of ultra-distance events. Distances offered are approximately 8 to 8.5 km and 14.6 to 15 km, with an additional 1 km course for children. The longer route includes a few hundred meters of climbing, with elevation gain figures ranging from about 350 to 380 m, depending on the specific course version. This race is part of the Challenge Trail Nature 06, integrating it into the local trail-running circuit rather than operating as an isolated village event.
The start is located on the new Place du Marché, in front of the pharmacy at Le Plan, establishing a local meeting point before participants head into the forest. The Mairie de Roquefort-les-Pins organizes the event and provides post-race amenities, including a finisher t-shirt, medal, digital photos, and refreshments. Aid stations and changing rooms are available at the venue. Photography is managed by Zoom dans l'oeil de Fab, with digital images provided by the town, ensuring runners receive professional race pictures without a typical commercial photo service.
