RoqueforTrail is a night trail race held in Roquefort-la-Bédoule, located in the Bouches-du-Rhône department of southern France. It typically takes place near the end of October, starting at 18:00. The primary race covers just under 28 km with approximately 870 to 900 m of elevation gain, placing it in the shorter mountain-trail category that still demands significant climbing ability.
The route crosses the garrigue landscape situated between the Mediterranean coast of Provence and the Sainte-Baume mountains. The course is marked and managed by volunteers, with traffic control at runner crossings. Aid stations providing food and beverages are positioned around the 12 km and 22 km marks. The race holds an FFA label, qualifying it for championship consideration, and also retains the practical aspects of a local club event, offering changing facilities, prizes for top finishers, and a long-sleeved shirt for the first 400 participants.
