The Ruée des Fadas in Font Romeu is an 8 km snow obstacle race held at the Font-Romeu ski resort in the French Pyrenees. It takes place over a winter weekend. Bib pickup is on Friday afternoon. Shuttles and warm-up waves are on Saturday morning. Ski-pass pickup is on Sunday for those who opt for the full package. A single bib costs 44 euros, and a pack of five bibs is 200 euros.
The course is designed for those seeking mud-run intensity on mountain snow. Participants will drag tires, climb nets, surmount climbing walls, race sleds, and navigate a series of obstacles before reaching the finish. The weekend embraces the race's lighthearted nature, featuring a Friday welcome drink with onion soup and local ham, followed by a Canadian barbecue and party on Saturday evening. It is well-suited for groups, runners in costumes, and anyone who finds enjoyment in cold weather, snow, and challenging obstacles.
