The Run For Emily begins and ends on the Veulettes-sur-Mer seafront, near the casino parking. This 8 km road race in Normandy is organized by the Maybe Tomorrow association as a solidarity event for Emily, a young girl affected by SCN8A syndrome, a rare genetic condition. The run commences at 10:00 AM with a 10€ entry fee, welcoming cadets and older participants. An 8 km walk, open to all, starts at 9:30 AM for a 5€ fee.
The course follows the Veulettes-sur-Mer seafront to Paluel before returning to the same finish line by the casino. The inaugural event attracted 535 participants, highlighting its community focus. Proceeds support the purchase of adaptive equipment for Emily’s disabilities and fund research into SCN8A. Participants lacking an FFA license may register with a valid French Prevention Health Pass; minors require the appropriate health questionnaire.
