Run & Fun du Giffre 2026

Run & Fun du Giffre is a three-day running festival in Samoëns, in the Giffre Valley of Haute-Savoie, offering races from short fun runs to longer trail distances. The program includes a 5 km, a 10 km, a trail half marathon, a trail marathon, youth races for benjamins and minimes, a 10 km Nordic walk, and family-focused events such as the 100% Fun race. The marathon can be run solo or as a team relay, and the half marathon also has a relay option, catering to first-timers, groups of friends, company teams, and runners seeking a serious result. The courses utilize the alpine setting around the valley instead of a big-city road layout, with aid stations on the route and live music along the way. Costumes are encouraged, and the event emphasizes entertainment before, during, and after the races, with activities for families and runners. A Corporate Challenge adds a team format focused on cohesion and solidarity, and the event also raises money for the SPORTISSIMO endowment fund. Recent participation was just over a thousand registrations, giving it the feel of a local mountain race weekend with plenty happening beyond the finish line.
