Semi de la Juine is a road race held in Saclas, a small commune in Essonne, south of Paris in the Île-de-France region. The next edition is scheduled for early October, offering three main distances: 6 km, 11.5 km, and 21 km. The event is named after the Juine river, not the month of June, and also features races for children and juniors.
The course incorporates town streets, forest paths, and open fields, providing variety beyond a simple city circuit. The race is associated with nearby Essonne communes like Guillerval, Méréville, and Saint-Cyr-la-Rivière, suggesting a local countryside feel for participants from the surrounding villages and from Paris. A runner's comment in French, “C’est la classe !”, is also featured.
