The Semi-Marathon de Vierzon is a March road race in Vierzon, in the Cher department of central France, with the start and finish at Gymnase Fernand Léger. The main event is a 21.1 km half marathon, and the same meeting also offers a 5 km race aimed at a wider field. VVF Athlétisme organizes the event, the half marathon carries a Bronze FFA label, and the course can qualify runners for the French Championships.
The half marathon is run over three loops through the Villages district, using roads such as Rue Jules Guesde, Chemin du Verdin, and Chemin de Saint Priest before a stretch along the Canal de Berry. It is described by the organizers as varied, technical, and demanding, with a 2 hour 30 minute limit and a 10 km cut-off at 1 hour 15. The race has been held for more than 45 years, while the 5 km gives local runners and less experienced entrants a shorter option on the same program.
