The Semi-Marathon du Finistère is a late-winter road race held in Telgruc-sur-Mer, located on Brittany’s Crozon peninsula. The event features a half marathon and a 10K, alongside Nordic walking and shorter children’s races. This setup caters to club runners, casual participants, walkers, and families.
The course winds through the town and along the coast, incorporating the cliffs, granite formations, sea air, and the exposed Breton weather. The race was established to honor the rugged beauty of the Finistère coast. Its initial edition quickly gained recognition, with over 4,000 participants anticipated and accounts of particularly challenging conditions during the 10K.
