The Semi-Marathon du Finistère is a running event on Brittany’s Crozon peninsula, featuring a half marathon, a 10 km race, and children’s races. The half marathon covers 21.097 km, beginning at the Cidrerie de Rozavern in Telgruc-sur-Mer and concluding in Camaret-sur-Mer. Over 4,000 runners are anticipated, supported by more than 250 volunteers in yellow raincoats.
The course crosses the protected Armorique Regional Natural Park, with the peninsula’s cliffs, sea air, and granite terrain defining the race’s local character. The 10 km begins at Salle Nominoë, referencing the first Breton sovereign. François Hinault, host of the L’Instant Outdoor podcast, organized the event, which embraces Breton outdoor traditions, offering a salted-butter-and-bread feed stop in place of a standard race snack.
