Semi Marathon du Grand Fond Bressan 2027

The Semi Marathon du Grand Fond Bressan is a road race held in Saint-Just, located in France’s Ain department near Bourg-en-Bresse. The primary event covers the standard 21.097 km half-marathon distance. Typically scheduled for September, the event offers runners three asphalt-course choices: the half marathon, a 10 km race, and a 5 km race designed for a broader participant base. The courses traverse the Bresse countryside, passing through several neighboring communes. Local backing comes from Ceyzériat, Revonnas, Journans, Tossiat, Montagnat, and Saint-Just. The 10 km race holds the French Athletics Federation’s Bronze road label, allowing participants to qualify for the French championships.
