SoMAD 2026

SoMAD is a costumed team obstacle race held in Torcy, Seine-et-Marne, east of Paris. Taking place around mid-October, it features two short formats, 5 km and 9 km. The emphasis is on mud, obstacles, costumes, and group chaos rather than road race pacing. The course is set outdoors in a natural environment, adopting an intentionally quirky style instead of a serious race-day atmosphere. Organizers present it as a way to shed the post-holiday return-to-routine feeling.
