The Trail Hivernal de la Moselotte is a winter trail race held in Cornimont, Vosges mountains, eastern France. Organized by COHM, it can present as two distinct events based on weather: some editions occur under mild, sunny skies, while others place runners in cold wind, snow, and true winter trail conditions. The primary options are the Grand THM, a 38 km route with 1,600 m elevation gain, and the Mini THM, a 14 km route with 500 m elevation gain.
The routes traverse local mountain paths near Cornimont, which can be heavily snow-covered during winter. In challenging conditions, the race can become severe, particularly at higher elevations, where cold wind has influenced past events. Runners on longer distances are advised to carry a windbreaker, indicating the event's practical approach. The race is also part of the Trophée des Vosges, attracting trail runners seeking a genuine Vosges winter challenge over a conventional road race.
