The Kinetik Toulouse Urban Trail takes place in central Toulouse in mid-April, with the start and finish area located in the city center. This is an urban trail, not a mountain race. Participants can select from 9 km, 14 km, or 24 km distances, with the longest route including approximately 200 meters of elevation gain. The event is in its second year and is expected to draw around 6,000 participants. Individuals can register solo or as part of a group, accommodating both casual participants and experienced runners.
The course guides participants through Toulouse's parks, gardens, narrow streets, less-common passages, partner locations, and local historical sites. Much of the course remains open to traffic, requiring runners to follow instructions from volunteers and marshals. Organizers request that participants avoid littering, refrain from cutting across lawns, and adhere to course markings, particularly as the route crosses public green spaces. High winds may necessitate minor route adjustments in parks and gardens. The city center village offers food, vendor booths, and activities before and after the race.
