Trail Blanc de l'ours 2027

Trail Blanc de l'ours is a short winter trail race at the Artouste resort above Laruns, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It takes place in early February with a straightforward format: an 8 km snow-and-mountain course, plus a separate 8 km canitrail option for runners accompanied by dogs. The route is a single loop featuring 600 metres of elevation gain. The distance is modest, but the effort is not flat or casual. The race embraces its “white bear” name, using the slogan “Come join the little white bear.” Its identity is shaped by snow, mountain terrain, nature, and the unique opportunity to race the same distance either solo or in the canitrail format.
