The Trail d'Eguzon takes place at Plage de Chambon in Éguzon-Chantôme, Indre, central France. This nature trail event, held in mid-November, centers on Lake Éguzon and adjacent ponds. Participants can choose from main running distances of approximately 9 km, 16 km, 24 km, and 37 km, alongside a cani-cross race covering about 9.5 km.
The longer races have local designations: La Fileuse for the 37 km, La Châtaigne for the mid-distance option, La Casse-cou for 16 km, and Le Chemin du Savoir for the shortest trail. The 37 km course involves an ascent of roughly 1,100 m, the 23-24 km route about 600 m, and the short course around 210 m, indicating that even the shorter distances include elevation changes. ASPTT CM36 Sports Nature is the organizer, catering to experienced trail runners, juniors, cadets, and participants with dogs; meal reservations are available post-race.
