Trail de Boudou is a village trail event in Boudou, Tarn-et-Garonne, featuring its current Rougail Trail format centered on running after dark. The night race equips runners with headlamps for two primary courses: 10 km with approximately 250 m of elevation gain, or 20 km with approximately 550 m. Previous years included daytime-style trail distances of 10 km, 15 km, and 26 km, alongside 10 km and 15 km hikes, catering to both runners and walkers.
The routes traverse the hills above the confluence of the Tarn and Garonne rivers, combining forest paths with ridge trails. Mud is anticipated, particularly in adverse weather, and the elevation reflects the local slopes rather than a flat road-race profile. A unique element follows the finish: each registered participant receives a rougail saucisse and beer meal. Thierry Gomez serves as the event president, and the race maintains its status as a small local fixture, distinct from large-scale trail festivals.
